In the electronic
world, in the dawn of the 3rd Millennium, as representative trade association
of the Romanian hospitality industry, we felt now
is the time to connect to our members and sister associations around the world
through a web site page. We would like to thank our sponsors and co-sponsors
for understanding our needs and support of this endeavor, based on a FIHR
project, selected by the USAID and generously
funded by CIPE for a non-refundable grant.
We thought this page is useful not only for our members, hospitality professionals,
but also for research and media people, and students, who would see better
their future career paths, for consumers and general public. It is also an
open door to Parliament, Government
and other NGO's for a transparent approach and to a better future for our
industry.

FIHR is a trade association that represents the Romanian hospitality
industry
business interests on legislative, governmental, media, non-governmental,
trade unions
and other NGO'S bodies, and in European and international hospitality organizations.
We are proud to have as member establishments 97 representative hotels, offering
more than 25,000 rooms and employing ~ 15,000 highly trained and educated
people.
